Heather Bateson

Science Teacher | Science Coordinator

Heather holds a BSc (Hons) Degree in Zoology from the University of Salford and a PGCE from Manchester Metropolitan University. With 10 years of teaching experience across various countries, including the UK, Qatar, and Portugal, she specialises in Biology but has also completed enhancement courses in Physics and taught Chemistry throughout her career.

Heather’s passion for teaching and learning drives her to constantly seek new and exciting ways to ignite curiosity in her students. She believes that fostering an engaging and dynamic learning environment is essential for inspiring young minds and helping them reach their full potential.

Through innovative approaches and a dedication to student success, Heather is committed to making a positive impact in the classroom.

Fun Facts

Heather is obsessed with wildlife photography, cats, and baking. Although her Mancunian roots don’t extend to football, leaving her unable to comment on whether City or United is better, she firmly believes that Oasis is the best band in the world.
