Alex Mwesa holds a Master’s degree in Musicology, a BA Honors in Postgraduate Music Studies, a Bachelor’s degree in Musicology, and a Music Teacher’s Diploma recognized by the Ministry of Education of Zambia. He has been teaching for over 20 years in international schools across Zambia and Botswana.

Beyond the classroom, Alex has coached award-winning marimba and steel pan ensembles, directed large-scale concerts, and developed music curricula that integrate African traditions with international frameworks. He is also involved in teacher training and music education research. In his free time, he enjoys digital music production, photography, and cultural exploration.
