Michelle Deegan holds a Master’s degree in Information Studies from Edith Cowan University in Australia, as well as a BA and Graduate Diploma in Library Science from University College Dublin and a Graduate Diploma in Computing from TUS Athlone. She has worked in tertiary and secondary libraries in Ireland, the UAE, Mozambique, the Netherlands, and now Portugal.

She has considerable expertise in children’s literature and enjoys encouraging students to broaden their reading horizons, as well as engaging in discussions about books with them.
