Marta was born in Caracas, Venezuela, and moved to Madeira at the age of nine, where she has lived ever since. She holds a BA (Honours) degree in Modern Languages and Literatures, specialising in French and English. As a mother of a sixteen-year-old boy, Marta balances her family life with her passion for education. In her free time, she enjoys reading and going for walks to connect with nature.

Her experiences and interests enrich her approach to teaching, inspiring her students to appreciate languages and literature while fostering a love for the natural world around them.
