Todd Bazley
Originally from New Zealand, Todd Bazley has dedicated his career to international education, bringing over two decades of experience leading and teaching in schools across New Zealand, Australia, Cambodia and India. Throughout his career, he has served as a classroom teacher, PYP Coordinator, Assistant Primary Principal, Deputy Principal and, most recently, Principal of an IB World School in Mumbai.
Having worked across both Primary and Senior School settings, Todd brings a holistic understanding of a student’s educational journey. He believes that outstanding schools are built on strong relationships between students, families and educators, creating an environment where every learner feels supported, challenged and inspired to reach their full potential.
His educational philosophy is deeply aligned with the International Baccalaureate framework, placing inquiry, student agency and international-mindedness at the heart of learning. Todd is passionate about developing confident, compassionate and resilient young people who are equipped not only for academic success, but also to make meaningful contributions to their communities and the wider world.
As a collaborative and approachable leader, Todd is committed to nurturing a strong sense of belonging throughout the school community. Together with his wife and three children, Todd looks forward to building lasting relationships with students, parents and staff as International Sharing School Madeira continues its journey of growth and excellence.
